During this meeting, Salt Lake City, Utah, was chosen as the site of the 2012 National Convention and Leadership Workshops, which will be held October 5-7 and co-hosted by the University of Utah chapter and the Brigham Young University chapter. Phi Eta Sigma Supports Special Needs Education: 2012 National Convention Philanthropy Project Student members of the Executive Committee have taken the lead in a special philanthropy project to promote special needs education through our 2012 national convention in Salt Lake City, Utah. Local chapters are encouraged to organize fundraisers for providing financial support to the Utah Schools for the Deaf and the Blind, as well as special needs education programs in their own communities. A check for the total funds raised will be presented to the Utah Schools for the Deaf and the Blind, and the chapter conducting the "Best Philanthropy" project will be recognized at the Salt Lake City convention.
